CAICT Center for Exchanges (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”) is an institution dedicated to foreign exchanges and cooperation under the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). Affiliated to Business Development Department, CAICT, the Center is mainly responsible for organization and implementation of technological exchanges, trainings, expert promotions, ICT technology presentations and related conferences. Meanwhile, it is also an important supporting organ for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in holding international and domestic conferences and exhibitions in China and undertakes coordination and arrangement for domestic meetings and exchanges of related departments within MIIT. Targeting at a brand image of “a specialized think-tank for the government and an innovation and development platform for the industry”, the Center is committed to becoming a high-end specialized and authoritative platform for exchanges, exhibition and training in Chinese information and communications industry.
●  To support related government departments in organizing international cooperation and exchange activities and high-profile domestic and foreign exhibitions and forums, including APEC TEL meetings, APEC SMEWG meetings, China-ASEAN Information Harbor Forum, World Internet Conference, ITU seminars, China Hi-Tech Fair forums, China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services forums, China-Eurasia Expo forums, China Electronic Information Expo forums and Guiyang Eco Forum Global.
●  To assist related government departments with planning, organization and implementation of auxiliary activities of major tasks, including kick-off activity of Broadband China, selection of Pilot City for Information Consumption, training on implementation standard for integration of informatization and industrialization and inauguration meeting of industrial alliances.
●  To organize, apply for and carry out national-level cooperative funds of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, including China-ASEAN Investment Cooperation Fund and Asian Regional Cooperation Fund.
●  To plan for, organize and implement trainings in the information and communications industry, mainly covering trend of industrial development and quality of telecommunication services.
