CAICT Signed Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Promoting Industrial Internet Platform Development in the Yangtze River Delta Area

Promoting higher-quality integrated development of industries and information technologies in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) area is an irresistible trend and necessity for regional economic development. At the YRD Senior Officials Seminar held in the afternoon of June 1, a strategic cooperation framework agreement was signed by Ms. Liu Duo, President of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), Mr. Zhu Zhihao, CEO of iSESOL Information Technology, Mr. Zhou Jianping, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Baosight Software, Mr. Zhang Qiliang, CEO of Jiangsu XCMG Information, Mr. Ku Wei, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Industrial Internet, and Mr. Zhang Mengqing, Chief Economist of Anhui HELi,to jointly develop regional industrial Internet platform clusters, and boost the integrated development of digital economy and real economy in YRD.

Join Hands with YRD to AdvanceInteractive Development of Industrial Internet Platform Clusters

The first batch of YRD industrial Internet platform companies and CAICT signed the “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Advancing Interactive Development of Industrial Internet Platform Clusters in the Yangtze River Delta Area”, to build regional industrial Internet platform clusters, promote the integrated development of digital economy and real economy in the area and contribute to the building of YRD world advanced manufacturing clusters.

Work together to develop YRD industrial Internet platform clusters. CAICT will provide support to gradient layout of industries, precision development and market alignment in the area. The platform parties will accelerate the integration and optimization of platform resources and regional service capabilities to improve the resource allocation efficiency on the whole industrial chain and the product innovation capacity in YRD. We plan to establish 4 to 5 cross-industry and cross-domain platforms by 2020, and take the lead in building a batch of benchmarking industrial Internet platforms that support digital, networked and intelligent transformation of enterprises.

Work together to drive the building and application of industrial Internet identifier resolution platforms. CAICT will lead the construction, deployment and operation of national top nodes for industrial Internet identifier resolution, and the platform parties will be the first to push forward the pilot application of identifier resolution secondary nodes in steel, chemicals, engineering machinery, equipment manufacturing, industrial vehicles and other industries. It is estimated that by 2020, the identifier registrations in YRD will exceed 200 million and an YRD identifier resolution service system will be established.

Work together to enhance the building of industrial Internet service support systems. CAICT will support the development of industrial Internet service standards and collaborate with the platform parties to jointly build service resource pools, offering professional services to enterprises including cloud/platform-based deployment, industrial apps, network transformation and industrial control safety. We plan to generate a list of recommended professional services consisting of no less than 50,000 industrial Internet services by 2020, and facilitate 150,000 companies to carry out R&D, design, production, operation and management services based on the industrial Internet platforms.

Work together to assist the building of industrial Internet network and security systems. CAICT will cooperate with the platform parties to lead the industrial enterprises and industrial parks to transform and upgrade their industrial network infrastructure into the one with low latency, high reliability and wide coverage, and develop a security guarantee system covering devices, control, network, platform and data.

Work together to build mutual trust between innovative applications and platforms of industrial Internet. CAICT will guide the platform parties to strengthen interconnection between integrated innovation and their platforms. The platform parties will improve data connectivity among platforms under the premise of controllable data ownership, support and guide the cross-platform migration and deployment of tool software, business management systems, equipment operation & maintenance and other applications.

Work together to create an open collaborated Industrial Internet integration ecosystem. CAICT will support the setup of branches of the Alliance of Industrial Internet in four places, based on which the YRD Alliance of Industrial Internet will be established. The platform parties will give full play to their leading roles in the alliance, and guide the upstream and downstream enterprises on the industrial chain and supply chain to develop public service platforms providing services such as technology R&D, experiment and verification, test and certification, and achievement transformation.
