[Abstract]

This Report is a continuation of the Report on the Development of “5G+Industrial Internet” in China 2020. It continues the basic framework of the 2020 Report, while adding hot technologies such as 5G URLLC, lightweight 5GC and 5G edge computing, industry hotspots such as “fully-connected” 5G factories and pilot areas for “5G+Industrial Internet” integration, as well as international situation, investment and financing, and cooperation models, among others in the light of the hotspots in the industry in 2021, and putting forward suggestions for further development.

(I) The implementation of typical scenarios has produced desired results, and the research on standardization is advanced simultaneously

(II) The application speeds up to connect the points into lines, with bright prospects for “fully-connected” factories

(III) An echelon of advantaged industries has formed, with notable regional development characteristics

(IV) Integration innovation drives development, with results yielded in different dimensions of pilot area construction

V. Gradual Improvement of the Innovation Ecosystem
