On 14 December 2018, Mr. Oliver Butler, Executive Vice President of Bureau Veritas and Global President of the Consumer Goods Business, visited CAICT along with 4 senior managers. Vice Presidents of CAICT Mr. Li Yong and Mr. He Guili attended the meeting. Representatives of Beijing Huarui Saiwei Communication Technology Co., Ltd., and CTTL (Beijing) Investment Management Center participated in the meeting.

　　Mr. Li welcomed the delegation from Bureau Veritas and gave a brief introduction to CAICT. He said that CAICT has always adhered to the position of “National High-end Professional Think Tank, Industry Innovation and Development Platform” and is committed to promoting the development of China's ICT industry. He expressed his appreciation for Bureau Veritas' leading role in testing and certification worldwide, and looked forward to further cooperation with Bureau Veritas in areas of ICT technologies. Mr. Butler thanked Mr. Li for his introduction and appreciated for arrangements for the visit. Ms. Chen Min, Senior Vice President of Bureau Veritas, gave a detailed introduction to the history and businesses of Bureau Veritas, and its market strategy, services and technology development in China. The two sides also had an in-depth discussion on the future cooperation, including exchanges and cooperation in the fields of Industrial Internet, 5G, and ICV（Intelligent Connected Vehicle）.

　　In his closing remarks, Mr. Li said that this meeting lets us know the latest updates and developments of Bureau Veritas. The two sides can develop new areas of cooperation based on their respective advantages. Mr. Butler said Bureau Veritas has a better understanding of standards research, testing and certification services of CAICT through this visit, and hopes to establish a regular visit and exchange mechanism to jointly promote cooperation and mutual benefits.
